On March 14, I am running in the Dallas Rock n Roll 1/2 Marathon Race for the Cure. When I was at the Cake Off in NYC, I was discussing the run with Buddy a.k.a. The Cake Boss, and he offered to help raise money for the pink cause…Breast Cancer Research. I recently started reading your blog after finding it through Carrot’s and Cake and Inner Working’s of a College Graduate when you all were in New York. I really like your perspective on food, eating, cooking, etc. I was excited to see you are running the Rock n’ Roll 1/2 in Dallas, I am too. It is my first 1/2 so I’m a bit nervous. Good Luck to you!
Megan I want to first say thanks for participating in this run. I know there are others who have been touched by breast cancer as I have. It is so ironic that this post came up now. I have been a little down for the past week because I miss my mom who I lost to breast cancer in 2005 and her birthday was February 25th. So thank you again for [articipating in the marathon to rais money for research for all those who are still fighting the good fight. I didn’t mean to get sentimental here I just wanted to thank you. I will be donating and will let you know when I do. Gain I wanted to just leave this message to say thank you.
