Sweet Baby Cakes

It has been awhile since I posted some of my sister’s cake masterpieces. She amazes me with her talent. Above is a baby shower cake made for a Gator’s fan. The top tier of the cake was chocolate fudge with raspberry filling. The bottom tier was vanilla with chocolate ganache filling. She used buttercream and fondant for the cake decorations.

This cute cake was designed to match the baby shower plates. My sister used buttercream to decorate this cake that was half vanilla and half strawberry with buttercream filling.

I think I should try to talk my sister into teaching me some cake decorating techniques. I know I could never match her talent, but at least I could learn from someone who is truly a talented cake decorator.
