Sushi Cake
2009 June 11

This Sushi Cake was the creation of my friend Rashele, who also made this Pirate Cake. I love the creative way she used a variety of food items to decorate this cake including coconut, Swedish fish, and fruit roll-ups. Can you guess any of the other food items she used to create this sushi masterpiece? Answers to be revealed in an upcoming post!

This cake is adorable! What a great job.
Megan, this cake is absolutely adorable! I have a 12 year old niece who (as she tells it) is in love with sushi. I’ll have to send her the link to this post. She’ll love it.
So awesome! Two of my favorite things: sushi and cake!!
I’m betting the “soy sauce” is a combo of caramel and chocolate sauces. The wasabe and ginger look like frosting, and the “red roe” on top of the sushi on the right look like hot cinnamon candies. The “rice” is the coconut. Coolness! I love the creative and decorative skills. Very clever!
