All the kids have headed back to school and the stores have been full of school supplies lately. Every year, I find myself checking out all the lunch boxes in the school aisles. When I was little, the most important part of going back to school for me was picking out my lunch box.
I remember having several character lunch boxes including Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony, Smurfs, Gremlins, Fraggle Rock, Peanuts, and Shirt Tales (anybody remember those characters?).
So what kind of lunch box did you have when you were a kid? What was your favorite lunch to pack?

I had strawberry shortcake and care bear! They mostly do lunch sacks
And reusable bags instead of tin boxes! I did see one today in the shape of a tire for NASCAR! Pretty cool!

I loved Fraggle Rock though!
My Brady Bunch lunchbox was my favorite, although I also remember having a Partridge Family one too
New lunchboxes and backpacks were always such exciting items. I couldn’t wait until the first day just so I could start using them! Cute post… brings back memories
I had that same strawberry shortcake lunch box! I even unearthed it from the basement and carried it for a while again when I was in high school.

I was a huge fan of Strawberry Shortcake. My mother recently purged many items left behind after I left for college and married life, one of which was my beloved SS lunchbox. It was a little rusty, but still had its charm.
