It is birthday time at the office again, and I wanted to make something fun for the birthday girl! I found this cupcake idea at Reynolds Kitchen, and knew it would be perfect.

To make these treats, simply bake a batch of your favorite chocolate cupcakes and top with chocolate frosting. To decorate, put 1 tsp of caramel ice cream topping on top of the frosting, and then top with a dollop of white icing and a cherry sour candy. For a variation, you could use a real cherry and a dollop of whip cream. Sprinkles might be fun too!

Wow…that looks beautiful. The cherry on top is always the best part of a sundae (other than hot fudge).
