Thanks to I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!, Alexus and I had a chance to visit the local Farmers Market and create a healthy meal. They provided us with a gift card for groceries, a flip cam, and a media kit for our adventure. We decided to visit the Frisco Farmers Market, and we had tons of fun despite the Texas heat beating down on us.
During our visit to the Farmers Market we bought tomatoes, corn, bow tie pasta, Asiago sourdough bread, wheat bread, and organic chicken and sausage. I was surprised to see that the products available were not just limited to produce. After a trip to the store to pick up some seasonings, we were busy in the kitchen.
Alexus had a fun time shucking corn for the first time!
I coated the corn with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! Spray and some Lawry’s salt! Then I wrapped it in foil and baked it in the oven at 450 degrees for 25 minutes.
After getting the corn in the oven, we chopped up some tomatoes, added them to the cooked pasta, and tossed it all with salad seasoning and fat free Italian dressing! Alexus fell in love with this pasta salad!
Then it was time to cook up the meat! We used my handy George Foreman grill for the chicken, and cooked the sausage in a skillet. We sprayed the tops of the chicken with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! Spray and added some BBQ rub.
To complete the meal we topped off slices of the Asiago Sourdough bread with some butter! Thanks to I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! we created a delicious and healthy meal, and enjoyed a fun morning at the Farmers Market

Great meal! So fresh and delicious!
This meal looks like it’s fast and easy. And besides that, it’s healthy.
What a delicious summer meal! I’ve never tried corn on the cob in the oven before. Making a note to try that soon while I can still get corn from my parent’s garden
My husband and I discovered a little known fact about I can’t Believe its Butter.
We love it so when it was on sale I bought extra’s and put them in the freezer. We like to let our spread sit out of the fridge, and we noticed that after being in the freezer it did not seperate like most spreads do. This was a great discovery.
Yum! :]
