Today would have been my Granna’s 90th Birthday!! I miss her and my Pop Pop so much, but I know that they are celebrating together today.
My Granna was one of my greatest supporters! We were both early risers, and we shared many morning talks and smiles. She was a fan of my baked treats, and I cherish the memories of her sitting across from me at the dining room table enjoying a cup of coffee and one of my homemade desserts.
She loved her sweets, and she especially loved her English Toffee.
Tonight, I will be celebrating her memory by making some Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies.
I wish we could be sharing these cookies over just one more coffee date.
