First 1/2 Marathon and Cake Boss Prize Package Winner

by megan on March 23, 2010

I ran my first 1/2 marathon last Sunday in 2:08:51. Despite the soreness I experienced after the race, I am ready to do another one and will be training even harder! This particular run was the  Rock n Roll 1/2 and was an official Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure! Over $100,000 was raised, and several of you helped me personally raise $196 for the cause….THANK YOU!!! For those of you who donated, thank you for patiently waiting to hear the winner of the Cake Boss Prize Package! And the winner is……..Kim S. CONGRATS!!!!

Awesome job!

I’ve been following your blog for awhile but maybe I missed this…..are you still gluten free?

megan March 26, 2010 at 12:17 am

I have never really been gluten free. I have had some allergy issues in the past that led me to bake some allergy free recipes, but I have never had an issue with gluten. Doesn’t stop me from making gluten free recipes :)

Congrats on the 1/2 marathon! I’m an avid runner but I’ve never bit the bullet and signed up for a race of any kind. Maybe 2010 is my year?
