Fall For Me Cake…Kelly Ripa’s Cake Off For a Cause

by megan on February 10, 2010

I had the most amazing day participating in Kelly Ripa’s Cake Off for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund! During the event, all the bloggers were split into five teams of three. Each team was assigned a themed cake. My fun and creative team members were Laura @ The Cooking Photographer and Sandy @ No One Puts Cupcake in a Corner. Buddy Valastro (The Cake Boss) and his crew gave us valuable tips as we worked to create our cake masterpiece. All the cakes created at the Cake Off can be viewed at kelly-confidential.com. Voting will continue through the month of February, and you can vote once EVERY day. Of course, I am biased and would love for you to vote for my team’s FALL FOR ME cake! For every vote cast in the Cake Off, Electrolux is donating $1 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. You can also enter to win a new induction range from Electrolux by sending a “virtual cake” to a friend. For every “virtual cake” sent, Electrolux will donate another $1.

More pictures and details from my fun and exciting trip to NYC will be coming soon!
