Eat & Greet Part 2: Taste Testing In The Betty Crocker Test Kitchens

Part of the day at the General Mills Facilities was spent in the Betty Crocker Test Kitchens. There were 19 kitchens within the large space, each with tons of counter space and wonderful ovens and stovetops….not to mention the beautiful view outside the windows.

Each of the 19 test kitchens was filled with product representatives and samples. There were tons of cereal samples. I have to admit I loved the Sprinkles Cookie Crisp. All the samples were tasty, but the bruschetta seemed to get the most praise.
We were given this list of the brand names to help us keep track of all our sampling activities!

I will let the pictures do the talking now! It was all just as delicious and fun as it looks! Take my word for it.

Hope you enjoyed all the pictures. Did they make you hungry? I am craving more Sprinkles Cookie Crisp now!

totally hungry. yes you have done your job!
tehehehe
looks like major fun!
What was your favorite of the products that they were sampling? Of the new products?
yeah~ you totally made me hungry and jealous of you!
Jealous too! I didn’t even know they made cinnamon Chex! My step-son loves cinnamon so I make him a cinnamon and sugar chex mix every year for Christmas – to use cinnamon chex is even better!
I brought home a box of the Sprinkles Cookie Crisp. So yummy!!!!!
How cool is this event!
It’s like cereal heaven! I really think I could live on cereal alone some days LOL
What a great job! Look at their smiles!
Yoplait Delights look yummy!!
My sons keep asking me to get that Sprinkles Cookie Crisp as I’m sure they’ve just seen it on commercials. I haven’t found it in stores ’round here yet! Hopefully soon!
Oh yum! look at all those samples!! so fun!! (and i might be a little jealous!)
Look at all those different flavours of Chex! I didn’t know it came in that many varieties.
Wow this looked like so much fun! What an honour to go there
Even though I tend not to eat many processed foods, I am a free sample whore, and was drooling over these pics!
So weird- I was reading your blog as you were commenting on mine! crazy!!
This trip looked so amazing. I’ve loved seeing it from different points of view (bakerella etc.). I bet my fav sample would have been the smoothies. They look pretty awesome.
Hi Megan,
It was nice meeting you at the Eat and Greet. I have to admit, I didn’t connect the face with the blog and I’m not sure we were formally introduced, but I like your blog. Also, great pictures!
I somehow missed the Fiber One muffins.
