I am extremely lucky to be a 1-800-Bakery.com Ambassador! Finding sweet treats on my doorstep for me to try is not a bad gig at all! Most recently, I was welcomed home with a beautiful red velvet cake. It looked and smelled amazing, and it was hard for me not to taste test it until after dinner. I am a frosting lover and that cream cheese frosting was just calling my name.
I couldn’t wait to cut into this alluring cake! I tasted the frosting first, and it melted in my mouth. Simply amazing! The cake tasted wonderful, but was a little bit dry. This might have been my fault. The cake came packed in dry ice, and the instructions said to let it thaw for 3 hours and then store in the refrigerator. It was already somewhat thawed when I opened it, but I left it on the counter. I am thinking it might have been more moist if I had put it in the refrigerator right away. Overall, it was a tasty cake!
